The team

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all of Prospero’s brands, including Group, Teaching, Health and Social Care, Learning and Banquo. You will have the chance to collaborate on the planning and delivery of our marketing activity with colleagues across the wider Marketing team. The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with skills in video editing. There will be opportunities to work with a wide range of different types of video, from social media content, to talking heads professional led content, to creative assets for our advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will occasionally have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced external Video Content Producer, as well as contributing to the activity of the wider Marketing team.

This role is only open to recent University graduates. As it is a full time commitment, it will not be suitable for anyone studying on a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the 2024 to 2025 academic year.

Required skills and experience

We are looking for a graduate with experience in using professional standard software to edit video content and assist in the production of our video assets. You will need to show creative flair as well as high levels of organisation. You will also need to work both independently and as part of the wider team.

We’re looking for a keen individual who already shows a lot of talent in some of the following areas. A willingness to develop skills in order to become a multi-skilled member of the team is essential.

Preferable Software Experience to include:

  • After Effects

  • Premiere Pro

  • Audition

  • Photoshop

  • Resolve

  • Blender

Desired skills:

  • Compositing

  • Animating

  • Sound design

  • Editing, demonstrating an appreciation of pacing and storytelling

  • An understanding or strong interest in grading

  • Ability to confidently deliver video/photo shoots with regional office teams

  • The ability to work as part of a team and on your own

  • Able to take direction and feedback from peers and management

  • Creative, adept at suggesting new ideas and recommending different styles/techniques to promote our brands

How would it work?

You’ll primarily be reporting into the Head of Marketing, however will also be taking strategic direction from the Marketing Managers of each individual brand. You’ll work as part of a team however on some occasions you’ll take responsibility for the creation or editing of content for an entire project while the wider team supports you in terms of feedback, quality control and client/team liaison.
