THE COMPANY:

We are an established provider of seafood product and pork products with a strong global and National presence.

We have developed a strong presence in Foodservice with strong routes to market across both wholesale and with major end users.

Our innovative NPD has led to the development of a foodservice range that keeps up to date with market trends concerning the latest seafood products and enables our comprehensive range to be suitable for end users across the foodservice sector including pubs, QSR and in particular education.

We adopt a strong ethos in regards to sustainable products and also constantly evolve their product range to meet the requirements for school menus.

As part of a major group - we have ambitious and expansive plans to further develop our presence within the foodservice sector.

THE ROLE:

This position is an exciting new role within our commercial team - focused on developing relationships with end user clients.

The role involves both managing existing clients and developing relationships with new ones via effective NPD and tendering for contracts at buyer level.

The client base will be predominantly focused around restaurant chain, casual dining, QSR and Pub chain customers - although the diversity and flexibility of our product range means that you may also be involved in other sectors.

You will also manage and develop business within the Food Manufacturing sector - particularly with sandwich and pizza manufacturers.

The role is predominantly home based so suits a candidate who enjoys and is effective in working remotely.

THE APPLICANT.

  • Candidates must have a proven track record selling to buyer level within the Foodservice sector
  • Candidates must have experience working for a Foodservice manufacturer
  • Experience working on NPD based projects will be of strong interest
  • Candidates will preferably have experience developing business with profit sector chain accounts - particularly across QSR, Restaurant, Hotel, or casual dining sectors
  • Candidates who also have experience of selling into Food Manufacturers will also be of interest.
