CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

EDINBURGH / GLASGOW / HOME

£250-£300 INSIDE IR35

6 MONTHS INITIAL

Loriens Public Sector client is going through a period of digital transformation and requires the support and experience of a Corporate Communications Officer for an initial 6 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering effective corporate communications and stakeholder engagement activity to support the delivery of the transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Corporate Communications to create a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Act as Communications Business Partner, working with them to plan, create and deploy effective communications to achieve their business goals.
  • Work with teams to determine communications strategies for a range of corporate change projects and initiatives.
  • Lead on stakeholder engagement for transformation programmes - ensuring there is a joined up approach to stakeholder engagement across programmes engaging with the same individuals and groups
  • Draft engaging content for internal and external updates - ensuring content meets overall objectives of communications strategy

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Experience managing stakeholder communications for projects
  • Experience of creating, delivering and analysing communications and engagement campaigns
  • Experience of working in a strategic communications, internal communications or marketing team
